Under the Skin, by Michel Faber. It’s very different from the movie.

VALIS, by Philip K. Dick. It’s a real head scratcher.

The Yiddish Policeman’s Union, by Michael Chabon. It’s an alt-history, hard oiled detective story, that made me laugh out loud so many times. It also won a Hugo Award!
