I’ve been working thru DeLillo’s oeuvre for nearly a decade (some of these puppies are THICK), but “Ratner’s Star” is tickling me in a way none of his other novels have. They’re all funny, but it’s pretty clear how the humor in this book inspired other writers (namely DFW). Lots of outrageous critiques of pseudo-intellectualism.
