I just finished Edith Holler by Edward Carey and it’s fabulous, one of the best books I’ve read. It’s a historical novel with horror/fantasy elements, and a love letter to the theater, about a 12-year-old girl in 1901 growing up in a theater who begins to suspect someone is murdering the factory children in her city. As gripping a final chapter as I’ve ever read, and so original & well-written!

***The Emerald Mile*** (The Epic Fastest Ride Ever Through the Grand Canyon) by Kevin Fedarko. An interesting true story. Fedarko has an amazing way with words and you’ll learn a lot about water management in the southwest.
