I don’t care for nonfiction much either but I do enjoy narrative nonfiction, which is nonfiction but tells a story in such a way that it reads much like fiction would.
**Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World by Jack Weatherford**
is maybe not not *quite* narrative nonfiction but it is close. I read it earlier this year and I really enjoyed it. So, yes it’s nonfiction but maybe it’ll work for you. It’s quite fascinating. Sorry, I’m not aware of any historical fiction around Genghis Khan although I’m sure something out there exists.
