I’ve just finished The Will of the Many and really liked it. Then I checked what’s the next highest-rated book on my to-read shelf and started reading Red Rising.
A boy who’s honorable man-of-his-principals father died, living in a hierarchal society with a pyramid for a symbol, is shredding it in his risky, physical job, and finds out his prospects of advancing aren’t as fair as everyone are lead to believe.
The leader is even called Octavia (although the Octavi in twotm are the lowest rank)
I’m on the third or fourth chapter and trying to figure out if I should choose another book before diving into the same book with different character names 😅
So… how much farther into the book will I feel like I’m reading about Vis in space?
