Hi there!
As the title suggests I’m looking for fiction books that centres around artists/ painters. Could be any genre, but I was looking for books that have Basquiat-like characters or take place in New York during the 80s at the height of the neo expressionist movement (I’m sorry this is so specific lol).
Other art movements and eras are also welcome (bonus points if they take place in other countries) but I would love to explore that period of time through a fictional lens. There’s only so many art non-fiction documentaries and biographies you can read about that time.
(( If there any authors in this subreddit please write more books with visual artists because I’m having trouble finding books with them.))
