adult is simply reads that aren’t young adult. I don’t mind the genre and it doesn’t need to be inherently sexual. the sapphicness of it all doesn’t even have to be the main story of the book either
“This is How You Lose the Time War” a short but challenging and beautifully written sci-fi novel about lesbians leaving love letters for each other across time and space.

The Priory of the Orange Tree, One Last Stop, Something to Talk About, Those Who Wait, and The Jasmine Throne are some adult sapphic books I’ve read and enjoyed–these span a bunch of different genres. I love Priory because of how expansive the plot threads are–the romance is a subplot there. One Last Stop, Something to Talk About, and Those who Wait are all contemporary romances, but seriously so good, especially Those Who Wait.

Seconding A Marvelous Light & A Restless Truth! And The Locked Tomb series! Check out Nghi Vo’s books, too. I’ve read The Empress of Salt and Fortune and When the Tiger Came Down the Mountain. They’re novella length and very good.
