I’m not a prude or anything; the content itself doesn’t bother me, but Christ on a stick did it go from 0-1000 in mere pages and then it just doesn’t stop. Even side conversations are filled with sexual euphemisms. Don’t really have much more to say on the matter, it just caught me WAY off guard, lol.

I actually enjoyed that in the book though! There are parts of the smut that are surprisingly tender and realistic feeling

Yes, I absolutely remember this specific part of the book myself.
I didn’t have an issue with the content per se, it’s just this section of the book *really* dragged for me, and this thing is a damn behemoth already. Oddly, it’s the only part of the book I felt that dragged, but that’s what makes it all the tougher to get through.
I just didn’t need so much repetition there. If I remember correctly not a lot else is happening for quite a while, I don’t think the book would lose anything from trimming that whole part a bit.
