I’m looking for a book about childhood trauma (specifically emotional abuse, parentification, and some inappropriate sexual experiences) that will help it make more sense to my spouse. We’ve talked about it in-depth over the years, but we both think it would be good for him to read a book about it. Thanks!

This Is Not About Me by Janice Galloway. She is a searing writer at the best of times, she has an incredible ability to shatter the heart with seemingly banal words; I was strapped in from the beginning, but she still got me.
Love her work, criminally underappreciated.
