Im a really big fun of george carlins aproach to comedy and im looking for books written in that style, if youre not familiar with carlin here are a few characteristics of his style: he uses very vulgure language, sometimes hes mean spirited, his descriptions are hyper specific to the point that it become absurd, last but not least he uses his comedy as a way of expressing his opinion about a really world issue (this one is optional). I am reading The Brothers K by David James Duncan right now and starting about 20% in it started having complete Carlin vibes. You have to get that far in to get there though. (I am about 75% in.)
Carlin had a few books published Napalm and Silly Putty, When will Jesus bring the porkchops etc. His daughter Kelly also wrote a book about growing up in the household
