So I do a lot of work on the road I drive a lot so I prefer audiobook format because it’s easier to get a hold of for me and I have a lot of spare time in that way.
As for books that I like:
Lord of the rings,
Name of the wind,
Wheel of Time,
Pathfinder,
The Witcher.
I love the series Nancy Drew and Harry Potter.
I’m sure there are more I’ve read many more serious but none come to mine off the top of my head.
Also I’m not a fan of romance. I don’t mind if a relationship is developing I just don’t want to know too many details about what’s going on I wanted to have an actual story beyond that.
I was going to start the belgariad series but some bad news has come to light. Sooo
I need help finding a nice series to start potentially.

It would require a REALLY long road trip but Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell is great on audio! She weaves an incredible tale and it is worth your time but it will take many hours of listening!
The Realm of the Elderlings by Robin Hobb is a fantasy series made up of multiple sub-series! Recommended to start with {{Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb}} which is the first in The Farseer Trilogy.
Robin hobb wrote a pile of books.
The world of five gods series
Chronicles of Amber
Neil Gaiman is a fantasy author, and most of the audio books I’ve listened to by him are also narrated by him. He has a knack for narrating his tales.
Project hail mary has an amazing audiobook. Haven’t listened to any other audiobooks by Andy weir but have heard great things.
Murderbot series by Martha wells and the expanse is also supposed to be really good.
