Something melancholic, doesn’t have too much conflict or drama, kinda like 3 dudes just cycling through the province, jazz, late night bartender just getting to talk to all types of people, some romance, like girl on the shore,I don’t know how to describe it, but I’ll check out every book recommended, thanks.

I remember someone saying that a Murakami Book is like a TV girl song and that couldn’t be more accurate.

I think you should explain more what Gymopedie no.1 is and you’d get better replies here.

Is it that widespread of common knowledge?

    2. Stoner by John Williams

A Heart So White by Marias

      Love by Hanne Orstavik

The Sundays of Jean Dezert by Mirmont

      A Passage North by Arudpragasam

These are all mellow reads for the most part and some are definitely melancholic. Stoner is probably the closest fit.

Would might want to search “slice of life” to see if you can find something in that genre.
