    Very niche, I know, but I really want a book that can capture the French New Wave. Sentimental, philosophical, with a bit of calmness and melancholy. Just the vibes of it. It would be amazing if there’s something set in Paris as well, but it’s not important! Anything will do.

      The Lost Estate by Henri Alain-Fournier. Classic French novel set in the French countryside, explores ideas of love, identity, and time.
