Since most protagoniss in Fantasy are teenagers, I want to find a book whose choice of protagonist is a little more original.
The Protagonist should preferably be at least 30.
Bonus points if the protagonist is over 40/50, is a (single?) parent, and/or a woman.
The book should also be focused on the fantasy aspect, if there happens to be a romance in it, that’s fine, but the romance shouldn’t be the main focus.
(If you happen to know whether the book has a german translation or not, please mention it! I’m interested in books like this myself, but I’m also thinking that my aunt would enjoy a book with an older protagonist but she doesn’t really read in english. If you don’t know tho, no worries, I can ofcrs look it up myself^^)
