I’m an incredibly die-hard fan of Nicholas Sparks’s books. I’ve read all his books and enjoyed each of them tremendously in their own way. I came here to ask you all if you have any similar author recommendations. I’ve tried Mia Sheridan and Colleen Hoover, but I couldn’t seem to enjoy their writing.
I like that Nicholas Sparks focuses a bit more on the tender and emotional aspects of a romance and love story. Although he occasionally has some sexual scenes, it’s not overbearing and doesn’t seem ‘unnatural’, if you know what I mean. I don’t mind reading about sexual content (but anything where there are maybe more than two in a standalone isn’t preferred), but I guess what I’m looking for is an author who might be a good writer to try out next. There’s something exquisite about Nicholas’s writing. It’s raw, emotional, tender, and a bonus: it tends to make me bawl my eyes out.
