Gift recommendations

My bestfriend is a huge fan of “Perks of being a wallflower” for Christmas to show my love and appreciation for her I wanted to gift her a book with a similar vibe annotated with my thoughts and some messages.
I’m looking for a moving book that preferably shows/focus on some kind of friendship or relationship in a very deep level.
My favorite book is “Normal People” and hers, as I have mentioned before is “Perks”, she’s not the biggest fan of Normal people so I didn’t really want to give it to her.

Anyways, sorry for the ramble, I’m looking for some recommendations that are moving, youthful and in some way soft
