Sci-Fi books about surviving to be the last <1% of humanity to survive a global catastrophe?
Anyone have any recommendations for good science fiction books about a group of people that survive a global catastrophe where >99% of the Earth’s population has been wiped out?
The post apocalyptic genre is massive. Anything in particular you’re looking for?
– Wool (Silo) (Howey)
– Canticle for Leibowitz (Miller)
– The Postman (Brin)
– Seveneves (Stephenson)
– Lucifer’s Hammer and Fallen Angel (both by Niven)
– Station Eleven (Mandel)
– Amtrak Wars (Tilley)
– Hell Divers (Smith)
– Outer Earth (Buffard)
– The Last Ship (Brinkley)
Just some random thoughts, in no particular order. These books have little to do with each other. While generally post apocalyptic, they’re all very very different in style and type.
