Looking for a book where people with magic/ special abilities are dehumanized

I’m playing through Final Fantasy 16, and in that world, anyone with magic is branded and treated as a slave and less than human. This is an interesting concept to me as usually people with magic are considered superior, or on the other hand they are ostracized and killed. This is the first time I’m seeing this type of world. So I’d like to read if there are any other books that have done similar. I don’t want stories where the magic users are killed or kicked out of society, I’m specifically looking for worlds where they are still part of society, but treated as lesser. Any ideas? Thanks!
