Can anyone suggest a book (or books) that have a similar feel to the movie Paris, Texas? A bit nostalgia, a bit sadness, a bit strangeness, and lots of open land, dry air. Or any other book that feels something like I’ve described here? I know it’s a bit vague. I’m going more for mood-atmosphere than plot. Preferably (literary) fiction. Thank you!
