Hi everyone!
I’ve searched through old topics and found lots of books suitable for children but I have an unusual case. He is 12 and he wants his books to be funny. Dark humour, gross humour is even better. He likes books by David Walliams and we are close to running out of them. He finished Whimpy Kid, Horrible Histories, both books by Adam Kay (no fiction but funny again). From “classics”, he is done with Harry Potter and he did not like LOTR because I think it’s too slow for his age and no humour at all (unlike HP where there are laughs from time to time).
Thank you all in advance!

Try the Percy Jackson series, it starts off at “The Lightening Thief.” And 9 books after. Plenty of humor.
Gordon Korman writes very funny middle grade books that are usually geared to help middle school boys enjoy reading. My husband still reads his books now at 28 because they remind him of his school days and they still make him laugh.
