Fiction Books about Science

I’m not looking for science fiction. But some work of fiction that tells a story and at the same time educates the reader how Science works.

P.S. I quit ‘The Logic of Scientific Discovery’ by Karl Popper after 180 pages. It was too dry, too academic. So, looking for similar work but in fiction.
