Hi All- Am looking to round out my wife’s Christmas gifts. She tends to like romances where the male character has a dominant personality and the woman is a character in and of herself. She loves when she can find a well-written older book like this (think Jane Eyre), but she has a hard time finding this and has been stuck in a contemporary romance slump. All cultures are more than welcome. NonPc premises welcome. She likes situations such as arranged marriage, kidnapping, older and/or curmudgeonly type gentleman. I would love to spend days looking in used bookstores, but I don’t have time to get away. All suggestions welcome! Thank you so much
