Hello! As the title suggests, I’m looking for books with a heavy portion devoted to the MC surviving in the wilderness. I just love the atmosphere of a MC having to adapt to surviving in the great outdoors (usually while being chased/hunted or on the run).
An example of this would be in the Hunger Games where Katniss is left to her own devices for a lot of the book, having to rely on her wits to survive.
I do generally tend to read fantasy or dystopian so recs from these genres would be preferable!
I prefer a FMC, a series of multiple books, and if possible a dash of romance mixed in.
I’d really appreciate some recommendations with this vibe, thanks in advance! 🙂
