I want sci fi with the brilliant & thought-provoking ideas. Gateway by Pohl has a really cool premise The windup girl has a very cool setting as does The City and The City. Don’t know if they’re technically sci fi… A Canticle for Liebowitz is great. Neal stephenson writes some pretty interesting stuff.
