Hello,
My 6 year old daughter loves the Captain Underpants and Dog Man. She’s looking for a new book but something “with lots of action like Captain Underpants”she reads way above grade level, but is looking for a book that won’t be boring.
She also loves books about talking animals. I’d prefer a chapter book rather than a Graphic Novel (like Dog Man). I’d appreciate all suggestions!

Has she done Ursula Vernon’s Hamster Princess series? Talking animals, not boring!
If you can tolerate more graphic novels Investigators and the Bad Guys are follow ons from Dog Man (and both substantially less annoying)
Princess in Black series maybe?
I’ll look into Hamster Princess! That sounds awesome!!! I’m okay with graphic novels, but she’s supposed to read 20 minutes a night for homework, and I’d prefer her choose a chapter book, but I’ll check out those other suggestions as well.
She does like Princess in Black, but is a little beyond them in her .reading level
You might look into The Bad Guys by Blabey. Sounds like it would be up her alley for sure.
The Treehouse Series by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton.
