Been on a bit of a run finishing Dostoevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov and Crime and Punishment, Catch 22 by Joseph Heller, and Why Fish Don’t Exist by Lulu Miller recently. Admittedly a bit of a spread, but enjoying the variety. I’m trying to decide the next book. In lieu of visiting my local bookstore (as I am prone to do) I’ve culled through by bookshelves for those books I’ve wanted to get around to, but for one reason or another, haven’t. Here’s the shortlist of five books that to this point have just taken up space on the shelves:
Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt
The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoevsky
Tom Jones by Henry Fielding
Roots by Alex Haley
Zealot by Reza Aslan
