I really loved reading Gone Girl and I’m nearly done Behind Her Eyes, which I’m also loving. I’ve been reading thrillers lately, I started with Verity which I liked but I know it’s common for people to hate on it haha. I also read The Girl On The Train but found it to be mediocre although I never disliked it.
I can’t really pinpoint something specific that I really liked about these books. I just like that feeling of needing to know what is going to happen next and being engrossed in the characters and their personalities.
I also have The Push and Sharp Objects in my backlog to read. Although I started Sharp Objects and found it kind of slow. If it helps, books in other genres I liked were the Hunger Games trilogy and The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo. (I know I’m basic lol)
