    First time posting here so I hope I’m doing this right…

    I recently finished reading the first couple books in Charles Stross’s ‘The Laundry Files’ series and I love the concept of every day people secretly working to keep Lovecraftian horrors at bay, but Stross’s books are set in a more modern day with heavy technology themes.

    Are there are similar style books set in Victorian or Edwardian eras? Or that are still contemporary but include low level magic (similar to the Dresden Files)?

    2. James Lovegrove has written a series of novels called the Cthulhu Casebooks, which involve Sherlock Holmes fighting Lovecraftian horrors.
