My little sister is trying to get into reading. She’s dyslexic so I adjust fonts to make it easier for her but she says she enjoys “picture books” more. I gave her some Junji Ito manga and she really liked that. She also likes horror and “anything but fantasy, I don’t know why I just don’t like it” thanks in advance!

The Higurashi When They Cry manga should be right up her alley.
Spy x Family!
Both horror:
Locke and Key series by Joe Hill
Through the Woods by Emily Carroll
Anya’s Ghost by Vera Brosgol – graphic novel about a teen girl and a ghost, light horror. It should be right up her alley!
Needle in a haystack, by casey jordan. A woman shares about her personal experiences with spirits, angels, demons, sleep paralysis, night terrors.. stuff in that nature. It also contains pictures throughout.
maybe the promised never land
five nights at freddys has a graphic novel, the walking dead, akira is amazing, at the mountains of madness the graphic novel was beautiful
She doesn’t sound ready for these yet, … but keep them in mind for when her reading level improves a bit.
