I’m looking for some approachable books to introduce me to philosophy. I’ve been taking a course that touched on some surface level stuff (big name thinkers and their famous ideas), but I’m looking to do a deeper dive.
Reading the best essays of Emerson has been pretty cool. I found it a good starting point.

Philosophy is a pretty broad topic. I mean, the Bible had some good philosophy in it, as far as that goes. I could be going in a totally different direction here, but here are a couple of good thinking books, that aren’t too heavy or emotionally stretching, possibly some good starting points for broadening your thinking:
Meditations by Marcus Aurelius.
Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl.

Take a look at the Oxford series of very short introductions – it includes a lot of philosophy related books, including more practical (academic?) concepts like knowledge, logic, etc.
