I struggle to read and need something that’s aligned with my interests. My interest are true crime, social justice, history, and investigative journalism. My favorite books are In Broad Daylight, Nickled and Dimed and The Man Who Quit Money. Not sure anyone can do anything with that but I appreciate any suggestions.

One of my favs is Cloudsplitter by Russell Banks. The story is told from the perspective of Owen, John Brown’s oldest son. It is 100% fiction but an interesting read if you’re interested in John Brown
The Good Lord Bird by James McBride is a fantastic read. It’s told from the perspective of a fictional character but it’s very entertaining and interesting.
