I really enjoyed this book, not just the history, but also the fast paced thriller/mystery. Any recommendations on a novel that is structured like this?
Edit: I should have added I have already read all of Dan Brown’s novels.
You may enjoy [The Name of the Rose](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2519) by Umberto Eco which is a history murder mystery novel set in an Italian medical monastery. Lots of history, philosophical debate that was happening around that time, and a simple whodunit.
Edit: adding that this novel is a bit more dense compared to Dan Brown
