I just finished ‘One Dark Window ‘by Rachel Gillig and I absolutely love it when there are clearly defined magical objects (or people with skills) with lore. Any book, comic, show, or media like this almost instantly becomes one of my favorites.
Here are some more examples of this:
\- Locke & Key by Joe hill is a perfect example of this
\- The Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkin (the people are magical)
\- Harry potter with the Deathly Hallows
\- Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency (lore in this is great)
\- Xmen universe (great but a lot of plot holes)
Any recommendations for books, series, comics, or really any kind of media with magical objects or people with extensive lore would be greatly appreciated!

House of Leaves, if you count the house as an object (you can also easily consider it a character)
The Orb in the Belgariad, Eddings
The Sapphire Rose in the Elenium, Eddings
The Sword in the Stone in Once and Future King, White
The Ring in Lord of the Rings, Tolkien
There are a few deep lore objects in the Nightside, Green. The Speaking Gun. The Unholy Grail. The Chaos Butterfly. The Teddy Bear.
