I want a Book/Story/tale/diary… about War.
It doesn’t matter which War(as long as it is real)and who is the writer,I just want to read something that give me a fragment of what peoples/soldiers experience in War,I want too feel the fears/emotions/trauma of peoples during War,I want to feel their fears and enjoy what they enjoy.
I want a book that make experience the War without being there.
Please, don’t recomend me those famous Epic fantasy(Lotr,WOT,Malazan…).
I am not interessed in the epic side of the wars but rather interessed in the human side.

All below are also great audiobook narration performances…
“A Higher Call” by Adam Makos
“One Man’s War” by Tommy LaMore
“Red Badge of Courage” by Stephen Crane
“A Girl Called Samson” by Amy Harmon (actually based on a true person, reads like fiction)
“The Longest Day” by Cornelius Ryan
