So being honest I haven’t read allot, but this writer was really loved by my Italian teacher in high school. This was a couple of years ago, I remember him say it it was his favourite writer and that he thought there was something really special about him.
As an assign enemy i had to read and then do a presentation about the book “The Crossing”.
I have to say that even tough I never liked reading I really enjoyed this book. I think it was the sadness in it mixed with the western atmosphere, but mostly the emotional state of the protagonist and the relationships in the story.
I don’t remember allot about my presentation to be honest, but this writer always made me curios because his book was really different from all the ones I read before.
I’m curious what your opinion on him and his work is.As I said before I have not read allot at all so I would especially like to know what more expirienced readers think about him.
