I am looking for a story that tells the perspective about someone justifying their darkest impulses, like induldging in revenge and punishing those who wronged them, without the narrative portraying them as the bad guy. Something like AoT season 4, but more in depth.
The genre is not important, could be a comic or a light novel, or a full blown novel.

So this is a five book thriller series and is definitely graphic so like, keep that in mind, but the Mindf*ck series by S.T. Abby is honestly really good, and it is all centered about revenge murders.
I was hesitant to read it, but I read all five books in one day (each one is under 300 pages, most are under 200)
