What are some books along the same lines as A Court of Thorns and Roses, The Song of Achilles, and The Midnight Library? I want to purchase some books as a gift, but I generally only read non-fiction, and the recipient enjoys fiction (specifically, the aforementioend titles). I also know they enjoy magical realism. The recipient is a 30-year-old female who practices law. Any help is appreciated!

The Midnight Library is classified as magical realism, but it isn’t comparable to the good classical magical realism books. These classics are more subtle. 100 years of solitude starts as an travel book with a lot of world building and has a deeper meaning about solitude. This book has won the Nobel price in literature. The genre is Magical realism
The master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov is a classic and also an adventure book about a gang. It’s also magical realism.
