Please suggest me a book (or books) that would make a good holiday gift.

Not holiday themed, I’m just hoping to get a variety of really good books for a friend who enjoys reading. They have a really hectic life so I thought this with some snacks and goodies for when they can carve out time for themselves would be good. They seem to like a good variety of books. Probably the only thing I’d pass for them would be full on romance novels.
