Hello! My mom loves reading. Usually each year she will give me a list of books to pick from for her Christmas present (so there’s an element of surprise). This year I don’t have a list, and the time is approaching. I need book recommendations.
My mom enjoys a lot of books as long as they’re immersive and take root in the world she knows, so not science-fiction, not in outer-space, and no giant monsters. Some of her favorite books are Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, The Nightingale, A Gentleman in Moscow, and The Great Alone. Any recommendations that you think my mom would like are appreciated! She is an avid reader, so if there are any new books out there it’s more likely she hasn’t gotten to them. Thanks again!
