    I see why the tropes of lone survivors can be so compelling, but I also find them unrealistic. Humans are evolutionarily wired to create societies, even in the most dire circumstances. And those who band together best will surely outcompete those who don’t.

    Does anyone have any reading suggestions? Thanks!

    3. It’s a comic book so might not be your taste, but that is the entire premise of Dr Stone. They don’t just want to rebuild the old world. They want to surpass it. There’s also a TV show based on it if comic books are not your style.
