We do a Christmas Eve book exchange in my immediate family. I’m looking for recommendations for my husband who does not read. He buys self help books, but never reads them. I buy him a book every Christmas, he’s read one of them.
I’m looking for something relatively short, catchy, easy to read. He likes action movies, world war two history stuff, golf.
Anything coming to mind?

He doesn’t like to read, but buys self help books, and likes WWII…
If he likes the thought of self help books, something that’s less fiction and more practical, maybe an autobiography or someone’s memoirs would be the right direction.

Has he read A Good Walk Spoiled? It’s about golf (if he watches it he might like it). But is there a reason not to let him take a pass on the book exchange and use the money to rent a movie or buy some golf equipment instead?
