Books about Kindness and Joy

I’m looking for an uplifting read – something where the main character’s goal is to make others happy or simply make the world a better place.

The two that come to mind that I’ve read this year are House in the Cerulean Sea and Legends and Lattes, but it doesn’t need to be a cozy story.

Fiction preferred, but I don’t have anything against a positive real life story.
