Hi, I’m new. I read mostly horror. I’d like to find a book to read over the holidays that is spooky/ mysterious/chilling, etc. and also set around or during the winter holidays.

I prefer to read books that are no longer than 350 pages. I guess the vibe I’m hoping for is the ghosts of Christmas past through future, The Green Knight, or even black comedy. Just nothing too heavy.
Thank you for any and all suggestions.

    1. the shining, nos4o2, those might be longer but might i suggest a audiobook to help with the length of the book

    2. Perhaps **A Night in the Lonesome October** by Roger Zelazny? Admittedly it has more Halloween vibes than Christmas…
