Hands down my best read of this year. The story was easy to follow and every single chapter left me ready to keep reading. You knew something big was coming and you couldn’t wait to see how things connected in the end! I read this one in 48 hours and I am not a 3 am reader!

*Room* by Emma Donoghue. Great, tense thriller that I got completely engrossed in, more than just about any other book I’ve read.

Rogue Male by Geoffrey Household, a slim thriller about an English man who tries to assassinate a European dictator who is obviously Hitler (though he’s never named), and is then hunted across Europe and England. It was published in the late 1930s, pre WW2. I defy anyone to read the first few pages and not continue.
