Books concerning Civil War medicine?

Apologies if this is a slightly specific request. I’m a big fan of the HBO series Deadwood, and find the character Doc Cochran immensely fascinating.

He’s haunted by his experience as a doctor during the Civil War, could anyone recommend books that might allow me learn more about medical professionals during this period. Thank you.
