    3. Mawson’s Will by Lennard Bickel. It’s much less famous than endurance but as good if not better, and it’s incredibly well written. Mawson and his companion were exploring in Antarctica when they lost one of the two sleds – the one carrying all the food – and that was only the beginning of things going wrong. Absolute page turner.
