I already posted in another sub and thought it won’t hurt to post here as well.
As the title says, if it wasn’t clear, I’m looking for a fiction book where the character is to display an inappropriate emotional response at the wrong place and time, or basically have a delayed emotional response or reaction. Even if it’s one scene in the entire book.
Any suggestions would be helpful. I’m not very strict as long as the theme is in the book, but just the optimal experience would be my preferences listed below.
1. I prefer if the main character that expresses this.
2. If it’s a series tell me which book includes it (even if all of them), please.
3. I prefer if it’s not related to a traumatic event, but I don’t mind if it is!
4. Fiction books only, any genre.
