Title sounds a little weird I guess… I love reading about people experiencing something new, my favourite has to be kingdom building type novels that excel in this like destiny’s crucible, or 1632, or Nantucket. Where they introduce new technologies and ideas.
These have a lot of fantasy elements to allow the story to work, but I’m not too bothered by that bit. I also love the movie the hundred foot journey, about an Indian chef and a French chef learning from each other which is a true story.
So any books about someone going somewhere new and introducing things from their home there. Could be a book about an interstellar pizza chef for all I care.

Ted Change has a lot of really good short stories along this line in Stories of your life and others. It’s a great mix of fantasy and sci that are crafted really well
Children of Time. It features scientists accidentally seeding a planet with human-level intelligent mutant spiders and then teaching them to build anything from computers to spaceships
