I’d like a book about the witches of Salem but not like fiction happening in that historical time, I want some kind of documentation or something like that, is there something like it?
There is Stacy Schiff’s The Witches which is nonfiction about it. I tried it on audio and it didn’t work for me that way but it may work on the page.

Mary Beth Norton is a historian who specializes in this, her book In the Devil’s Snare is a great history.
I know it’s not what you asked, but Malcolm Gaskell recently wrote a book on the 1651 witchhunt in Springfield Massachusetts and it was so good, it’s called The Ruin of All Witches.
