only recently started to get back into reading and queer fiction has taken my fancy. However, a common theme I’ve noticed is that they’re all so sad! Need something a bit more upbeat and cheerful to read so that I’m crying of happiness and not sadness.

I tend to like books with m/m romances/experiences but am open to most everything.

    Thanks in advance!!

KJ Charles almost exclusively writes complex but lovely mm romances. I like them all and they’re quite different so I would check out her blurbs and see what appeals.

Sarah Waters’ Tipping the Velvet and Fingersmith might also be up your alley

      Those two both write historical

For contemporary, Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall is a fun romcom.
